Welcome

Welcome to Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG); and welcome also to the opportunity to be an part of our Senior Leadership Team in a new NHS Group, one of the largest acute joint arrangements in the NHS with a budget of over £1.3 billion, focused to deliver great care to our populations through over 16,000 wonderful and devoted staff. 

HUTH and NLAG have high ambitions and we are committed to delivering more together for the populations we serve. Our two trusts have been working collaborating at pace to re-engineer services and identify how we can better provide those services across our complex geography for the benefit of our patients. 

In the spirit of greater collaboration, the two Trusts have appointed to a Group Chair and have now appointed me as Group Chief Executive and I am privileged to serve in that role and transition the two Trust’s into a Group Operating Model with a single harmonised Executive Team and Leadership structure. 

Several senior roles have been created through the development of our Group Operating structure, all providing the opportunity to create a connected, engaged, and deliverable digital strategy that reflects the values of both Trusts and the needs of patients and end users work. 

We need talented, committed individuals with the right personal qualities to meet the many challenges we have, but you can be assured of my support to do this.
